We're a hard-working FIRST® LEGO® League robotics team from Southeast Louisiana that lives for technology, team-building and coopertition®. We're always looking for innovative ways to improve our robots, programming and mission strategies, and we enjoy working as a team to make those quests realities.
FIRST® LEGO® League introduces young people, ages 9 to 14 (grades 4-8), to the fun and excitement of science and technology.
Teams, composed of up to ten children with at least one adult coach, can also be associated with a pre-existing club or organization, homeschooled, or just be a group of friends who wish to do something awesome.
In FLL, the children do the work; like program an autonomous robot (using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robot set) to score points on a thematic playing surface, create innovative solutions to a problem, all while being guided by the FLL Core Values.
These three elements - the Robot Game, Project, and FLL Core Values - make up what we call our yearly Challenge. Teams also fundraise, create a team identity, and talk to experts in the field.
Some teams (such as ours) attend official FLL tournaments, where we compete against other teams in our area or region.
Thanks for visiting our Ed.co fundraising site, and please feel free to contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about our Team, the First LEGO League program, or to schedule a robot demonstration at your school, civic organization or business.
Our team has officially started accepting credit card donations. We need awesome team members and donors like you to share this link and tell your community why you support Slidell Junior High School TigerFire!
